Effective Date: October 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Live in Guanacaste. We are committed to delivering an exceptional standard of service, not only in our luxury real estate and advisory offerings, but also in how we protect and manage your privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how Wally Pacific (the commercial operating name of Wally Pacific Excursions S.A.) collects, uses, and safeguards your personal information when you visit our website or engage with our services, including Strategic Acquisition & Advisory, Architecture & Bespoke Development, and Asset & Property Stewardship.

Please note: This information is provided for general transparency purposes and does not constitute legal advice.

2. Information we collect

To provide you with a tailored and high-end experience, we may collect the following types of information:

  • Identity and Contact Information: Including your full name, email address, phone number, country of residence, and any other details you choose to share when submitting inquiries through our contact forms.

  • Technical and Usage Data: Once analytics tooling is enabled, we may collect standard technical data, such as your IP address, general geographic location, device type, browser type, and information about how you navigate and interact with our website. When you open our contact form, your approximate country is determined by our hosting provider from your connection, solely to pre-select your telephone dialling code; it is not stored.

  • Communication Data: Any correspondence or information you share when communicating with our team via email, contact forms, or direct messaging platforms.

  • Security Data: To protect our contact form against spam and abuse, a pseudonymised (hashed) form of your IP address is processed temporarily, together with the time of your submissions. It is not linked to your inquiry and is deleted after one hour at most.

3. How we use your information

We treat your personal data with the utmost discretion and confidentiality. The information we collect is used solely to:

  • Respond to your direct inquiries and provide requested information regarding our bespoke properties and advisory services.

  • Facilitate follow-up communications tailored to your specific real estate and investment interests.

  • Analyze website traffic and user behavior to continuously improve our digital presence and client experience, where analytics tools are enabled and, where required, with your consent.

We respect your privacy: Live in Guanacaste does not and will not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties.

4. Third-party partners and processors

To ensure seamless communication and an optimized website experience, we utilize select, reputable third-party service providers. Please note that these platforms process data in accordance with their own respective privacy policies:

  • Hostinger: Our website is hosted by Hostinger, and inquiries submitted through our contact form are transmitted to our team by email through our own Hostinger-hosted mailbox.

  • WhatsApp / Meta: If you choose to contact our team via WhatsApp, your messages, account details, and technical information are processed by WhatsApp/Meta.

  • Analytics & Advertising: Where enabled, this website may use Google Analytics (GA4), Microsoft Clarity, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel to help us understand website engagement and measure the effectiveness of our communications. These tools are only activated after you have given your consent through our cookie banner, and you may withdraw your consent at any time (see section 5).

5. Cookies and audience measurement

We measure visits with Matomo, hosted on our own server, without cookies and with anonymised IP addresses; you may opt out via “Cookie settings”. With your consent only: Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*, up to 13 months) and Microsoft Clarity (_clck, _clsk, up to 12 months), to understand how the site is used, including anonymised session replays; Google Ads (_gcl_*, up to 90 days) and Meta Pixel (_fbp, up to 90 days), to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. Your choice is kept for six months and can be changed at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of each page.

We believe you should have complete control over your personal information. At any time, you maintain the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
